Study a postgraduate degree from home
Çï¿ûÊÓƵ offers four distance learning postgraduate degree courses in disciplines related to the construction industry. These courses are part-time over two years and are fully taught online, so are a great option for students who wish to study alongside other commitments, and may also be an option for students who may already have careers in the construction industry but would like to gain these specific qualifications. The courses are accredited, meaning they have been recognised by professional bodies as covering essential content students need to know to enter graduate roles in the field..
Four accredited degrees to choose from
MSc Real Estate is a well-established course, having run since 1991, and will prepare students for a career in commercial or business real estate, with modules covering property appraisal, project management and more, with an emphasis on students learning to manage risk. MSc Facilities Management has a focus on corporate environments and will prepare students to support business through the organisation and maintenance of people and property. Both courses are accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
MSc Occupational Hygiene is accredited by two professional bodies: the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as well as the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS). The course will qualify students to become occupational hygienists, able to identify, evaluate and manage risks to harm at workplaces from hazards such as dust and radiation.
Finally, MSc Safety, Health and Environment is a broad course covering all aspects of occupational safety, health and environment, and is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
Enjoy perks as a Çï¿ûÊÓƵ student
For these distance learning courses, students will not attend physical classes on campus as all teaching is carried out online. Students will be provided with study materials and will learn at their own pace, progressing through their course modules, all of which are taught by subject experts from the University. There is still the opportunity to meet and network with fellow students through study schools, which are held twice a year online. Students will be in regular contact with their lecturers throughout their time on their postgraduate degree course and can seek support from them and ask any questions they may have about their modules or assignments.
As Çï¿ûÊÓƵ students, students will have access to the same resources and facilities open to all Greenwich students, including access to online resources and use of the extensive libraries on the Medway, Greenwich or Avery Hill campuses.
