Christopher joined the School of Health Sciences as a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing in 2021 and has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCert) qualification. As an academic, Christopher manages modules/courses, develops, and improves teaching and learning curricula and content, and facilitates teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

He is registered Mental Health Nurse with years of practical experience in acute, community, and forensic mental health services. Prior to nursing, Christopher contributed to the successful delivery of beneficial service outcomes in several responsibilities within the NHS, including complaints administration, site management, project management, service improvement and office administration.

He is also experienced in Education UK promotion and marketing, international student recruitment and business development, e-learning and digital platform administration and project management, and higher education teaching and learning.

Christopher research interest focused on the application digital health innovations in mental health nursing services and practice. His Doctorial study research is exploring mental health nurses’ experiences and perceptions of digital mental health in practice.
