The skills I was taught throughout my degree aren’t just essential in the international business world but are also of great worth even should you never leave your native shores again. That is the unique competitive advantage that Greenwich confers to all its graduates.

Memories of Greenwich

I believe that Greenwich is really the best place to learn about the world. This is the best avenue for meeting a lot of people from many different countries, to spend time with them for three years, to share life experiences and to learn many new things. It’s like reopening and refreshing your life and making it full of new feelings and opportunities. For example, before coming here I knew little about Europe and its culture. Now I’m happy to have a lot of new friends from there and other parts of the world. No doubt that the three years spent here will be some of the best in my life.

The skills we learned, working successfully with fellow students from different backgrounds and cultures, combining the best of competing business approaches and strategies, and constantly adapting and achieving precisely from the diversity of our colleagues are rare.

Life after Greenwich

After completing my studies, I started my career in Human Resource Management with a big Publishing House. I then took roles in the telecom sector, worked on government projects, and I’m now working with the UN for policy and development matters. In the near future I will start my own Management Consultancy firm to develop social welfare projects for human rights, environment, and health, putting to use the teachings and guidance I received from University professors. I'm really thankful to all my professors and the University where I got an opportunity to learn and explore life's goals.

To current students, remember that a great university experience doesn't just happen. You make it happen by taking advantage of the many opportunities available to you both on and off campus. This includes taking advantage of the programmes, activities and events made possible to you after you graduate through the alumni community.
