Çï¿ûÊÓƵ is so student-friendly, while the staff are fantastic, and the Greenwich campus is mind-blowing. I am proud to be a member of the alumni community of such a prestigious university.

Memories of Greenwich

The graduation ceremony was very emotional for me as I had to come through lots of struggle to reach that goal. When all my fellow students were together to have group picture along with lectures and other university staff, one of the lecturers shared his belief that all of you will not only work only for your own career but work for your community too. This is still in my mind and I believe that this motivation will stay with me as long as I’m alive.

As an international student it was not easy for me to adjust at the beginning of my studies. However, University staff were awesome in terms of their communication with me and my fellow students. If I was unsure with anything, I used to meet my lecturer in their office, and they used to help me to understand the topic.

This level of support brought huge change to students like me.

Life after Greenwich

After Greenwich I completed another undergraduate course; LLB from University of East London. I then completed the Bar Professional Training course (BPTC) from City, University of London and I am now studying LLM, again at City. I have also been volunteering for the British Red Cross since the pandemic started. Because of my service, I was humbled that the British Red Cross used my picture in a promotional campaign that could be seen on billboards, and at bus stops and underground stations. .
