HR Deputy Manager, Bouygues UK (Civil Works)

My time studying at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ has played an immense role both in my career and in my life.

Memories of Greenwich

I had been interested in studying at Greenwich due to the student facilities and the flexibility of the programme. The diversity of students and professors was a key reason why I had such a positive course experience.

I was very fond of my dissertation topic, which brought me so far in terms of my professional interests and development. I also enjoyed my mentoring experience at the Houses of Parliament.

My dissertation focused on HR Management systems in London-based private and public sector organizations, with a focus on employees with disabilities. I interviewed 10 organizations and reviewed their practices. Thanks to this experience I was accepted to participate at the John Smith Fellowship Programme.

Life after Greenwich

After graduation, I participated in the John Smith Fellowship Programme sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This was a changing point in my career as, following my dissertation interest, I had a chance to continue everything that I had researched up to that point.

Following the completion of the Fellowship I joined a French construction company, based in London, where I currently work as a HR Deputy Manager. For my long-term plan, I would like to train university students in International HR Management and to create a social enterprise dedicated to people with disabilities. I also look forward to coming back to the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ to speak to current students about my experiences and to provide support.
