Marian Kutsoati

Senior Consultant

I have selected this photo because it expresses my involvement in university activities. These included the ‘student switch off’ campaign to reduce our carbon footprint at Greenwich, and the Mayor’s Entrepreneurship Programme.

Memories of Greenwich

Looking back, I recall when I was elected as a Student Delegate to represent Greenwich students at the NUS Student Delegate Conference, 2018. I took this opportunity to ensure students voices are heard and accommodated. Students require freedom of mind to enjoy successful studies. It is therefore vital to ensure they have the environment to achieve that. Attending the Conference was a great learning experience and helped me establish long-term friendships with likeminded visionaries and change makers.

My lectures were busy, however with effective planning, determination, and willingness to learn I was able to succeed. Through the programme I have learnt the art of building sustainable relationships, articulating myself in public through presentations, and strategic group and individual planning.

Life after Greenwich

Since completing my programme I have worked as a Senior Consultant. In this role it is important to understand the needs of your clients, as client relationships should be conducted professionally and ethically.

I have worked across industries including health, finance, and technology. I help businesses remain robust and operate efficiently, especially as the business world is changing so rapidly. My current project is designing a free digital service to promote maternal health in Africa.

In the future, I would like to help the Greenwich community through mentorship and sharing my expertise.
