Growing up in Charlton, I have always loved Greenwich Park and the architecture and history. It’s a unique place in terms of Maritime and Astrology and inspired me to come to the University.
Memories of Greenwich
I studied my courses part-time while holding down a full-time job, teaching myself to program at work. Greenwich taught me how to be a professional software engineer and prepared me for a career in the software industry. I completed a foundation class, HNC, HND and BSc Hons degree all at Greenwich.
Life after Greenwich
I have been working in the Tech Industry for over 30 years. Having worked extensively in California, I am now enjoying being back in the UK.
For those about to graduate I would encourage you to have the confidence to know you can do anything well. Be open-minded to your options after you graduate and, if you’re able to, embrace the opportunity to work abroad!
