The course improved my skills portfolio; on completing my studies at Greenwich, my then employer promoted me to a management position.
Memories of Greenwich
I studied at the Natural Resources Institute in Medway. I have fond memories of my time there; studying and catching up with colleagues.
I used to drive from London to Medway; the journey down to Kent from London was a breath of fresh air especially when the weather was nice. The location of the NRI, at the University’s Medway campus, is also great. I remember the chats I had with my lecturers, who are wonderful people and very knowledgeable.
Life after Greenwich
I am working as a Technical Manager for Sainsbury’s supermarkets. My role involves working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that consumers get safe, legal, and quality food products. I plan on continuing to develop and grow both professionally and personally.
The photo I have chosen for my Snapshot shows me sitting at my home workstation. Since the pandemic began, I have been working from home, and this corner of my kitchen has become my ‘office’.
