Graduate Recruitment Assistant, Çï¿ûÊÓƵ

I spent an amazing four years studying chemistry at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ. It was an incredible adventure that made me who I am today.

Memories of Greenwich

One word to describe my course would be inspiring as my knowledge was not only challenged every day, but it also equipped me for the real world. The lecturers have always been very supportive and genuinely cared for the student experience, even after leaving university.

During my virtual graduation, I was awarded the Evelyn de Barry Barnet Prize for Best Chemistry Student. However, I certainly believe that I wouldn’t have been awarded the prize if it weren’t for the support system that I received throughout my degree.

Life after Greenwich

While I was studying at Çï¿ûÊÓƵ, I worked part-time as a student ambassador. In particular, I worked with the Student Recruitment Team, where I had the opportunity to build and develop my skills, leading to my current role as Graduate Recruitment Assistant. This job may not be directly associated with the degree that I have. However, the skills gained from my Chemistry degree have certainly helped me to thrive in my current role.

As a recent graduate, I believe that this is my beginning in the working world, and I want to see the many aspects that a degree in chemistry can bring to me. I have begun my postgraduate degree in Drug Development Science at King’s College London, as I am interested in the pharmaceutical side of chemistry. I look forward to broadening my experience and carry forward my knowledge from the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ.
