HR Administrator, Gigaclear

There are a great number of resources available to you as a student at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ – the Employability and Careers Service, mentoring schemes, workshops and seminars - make the most of it! I do not think I would be where I am now without the support and help the university provided me with.

Memories of Greenwich

One of my favourite places was the library. It provided me with all the information that enabled me to complete my assignments and exams. It also was the focal point where my classmates and I spent our time together. We studied together, helped and supported each other, and most importantly we had lots of fun while preparing for important assignments and exams. As a foreign student, the library was my home and my classmates were my family.

Last but not least, I took part in the mentoring scheme twice and I had incredible mentors who were of a great support to me during job applications and with whom I still keep in touch!

Life after Greenwich

During my degree I completed a placement at Amey in Oxford which provided me with invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge that I was able to apply in my final year at university. Since graduating I have been working within the HR field, I currently work for the telecommunications company Gigaclear.

One of the most valuable skills that I gained at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ is being able to reflect - which helps me improve and develop further within my role. My studies played a crucial part in my career success too. In addition, as a student who regularly visited the Employability Office, I still use the priceless tips I was given by that team for interviews and job applications that have never failed me!
