Our courses

At undergraduate level we offer two economics degrees which can be studied either full-time, part-time or - for those wanting to undertake a placement year - in sandwich mode. Also at undergraduate level, we have a direct-entry version of our Economics BSc. At postgraduate level, we offer a taught MSc and the opportunity for MPhil / PhD study.

Why Greenwich is great for economics degrees

We offer relevant courses, with a real-world focus; a supportive learning environment - we were ranked 5th in the UK in Economics for satisfaction with feedback (Guardian Uni Guide 2025); access to a first-rate employability service, providing advice and support, all in a stunning London location.

Gender equality key to solving the UK’s productivity crisis

Funding social care and childcare would free up the female workforce and boost the UK's lagging productivity, a new study has found.

The campus is lovely and it's close enough to the rest of London to make the most of the London life.

- Liam Cordrey, BSc Hons Economics
