BAME awarding gap project

Who to talk to

Find out who participates in the project and how to contact them.

Each faculty has an awarding gap working group which reports to their respective Associate Dean for student success. They are the first point of contact in your faculty if you have any questions on how to tackle the gap.

Academic and Learning Enhancement

Our Academic and Learning Enhancement (ALE) Team supports the learning and teaching delivered to our students, from offering professional development opportunities for staff, providing guidance and resources, through to facilitating pedagogic research throughout the institution. The team delivers training on the BAME Awarding gap throughout the year, which can be tailored to each faculty. Please contact Emma Kennedy to discuss your training needs.

We work in partnership with GSU on the BAME awarding gap project. Inclusivity researchers are paid student GSU staff who evaluate the inclusivity of our modules. They also run projects, e.g. student exhibitions on the BAME awarding gap with the aim to raise awareness among students.

The project is coordinated by Emma Good. If you have a question about the BAME awarding gap or the project to tackle it, please email Emma at bameawardinggap@greenwich.ac.uk
