Parking Permit System

This is the landing page for the university's parking permit system Nexus Platform. It provides a link to the Nexus Platform and instructions on how to access it.

Çï¿ûÊÓƵ email account holders  -

Register:

  • Follow the ‘Register’ link and select ‘Sign In with Microsoft’ (if are not already logged in to the university then you will be prompted to).
  • Choose your university email account when prompted by Microsoft.
  • Your name and email should be shown on the system, just add your mobile number and agree to the terms and conditions.

Login:

  • Use the ‘Sign In with Microsoft’ button (if are not already logged in to the university then you will be prompted to).
  • Choose your university email account when prompted by Microsoft.
  • If you previously held a staff permit, or other permit type expiring after 31-August 2023, then it should be visible in your account for you to manage.
  • To apply for a permit use the '+Application' button at the top right of the page and complete the relevant form.

Other users without a university email address -

  • If you do not have access to a university email account (this may apply to some new students) follow the ‘Register’ link and create an account with your personal email address. NHS email addresses cannot be used.
  • You will be sent an email to verify your email address.
  • Once verified you will be prompted to verify your mobile phone. You will be sent an OTP (One Time Passcode) by SMS to your mobile. This will be used for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Once verified you will be prompted to create an Access Code to use should you lose access to your mobile.
  • So that your registration is directed to the university you will be invited to insert the relevant Invitation Code. For students YN0Y3G3, for staff DHZH67J, and for affiliates/contractors O4L00KO.
  • If you previously held a staff permit, or other permit type expiring after 31-August 2023, then it should be visible in your account providing you have registered with the same email address.
  • To apply for a permit use the '+Application' button at the top right of the page and complete the relevant form.

Contractors

Contractors working on our campuses in company registered vehicles can obtain free parking by emailing travel@gre.ac.uk with their company name and vehicle registration mark(s). Ownership evidence e.g. photo of vehicle in company livery or V5 registration document may be required if the vehicle is not a commercial.
